This extension adapter from Luxburg allows you to extend an HDMI signal over Ethernet CAT5e/6 up to 120m without any loss of the quality of a Full HD 1080p signal. (150m for HD Ready 720p)
It uses single CAT5e/6 cables (SHIELDED CAT5e or CAT6 Cables are highly recommended) which is relatively cheap and widely available. It also allows to use already available Ethernet cables at home and in the offices.
